On the 2nd June 2005 the chairman of Caxton, Print and Publishing (Pty) Ltd Dr.Frederick van Zyl Slabbert presented R420, 000 to Professor Lafras Steyn for electro colloidal silver( eCS) research investigating the laboratory aspects of its effect on Tuberculosis, that will be conducted in partnership with the University of Cape Town over a two-year period.
